Last night I went to visit my Albanian family! I met Senada last year and fell in love with her family. Her mother (to the right) worked 3 hours on making fli, a traditional meal here that is basically layers of some sort of dough...it's kind of spongy... I really don't know how to explain it. But the picture is below, so hopefully a picture will be worth 1,000 words. haha
We drank some Turkish coffee and I gave everyone their gifts. My favorite was the game Twister, a game that they don't have here and most have never heard of it. So I taught them how to play and was able to practice my Albanian a little bit! (Well... the colors, and the words hand, food, right, and left)
